“Aw, jeez…” – former Boston Red Sox first basemen Bill Buckner when he let that ball get by him in that game that time. (paraphrased)You don’t have to wait that long. You could start letting things go TODAY. It is one of the key components behind Effing The Dog™. Left the iron on? Let it go. Been put on notice by your employer? Let it go. Missing appointments left, right and enter because you just can’t focus? LET IT GO.
A classic example of this is O.J. Simpson. He has been able to put so much behind him and forge ahead with little to no long term effects due to his behavior. I will say that he is not a prime example of the EffTD™ way, as he generally keeps raising the bar of his accomplishments, which ignores the “TD” portion, resulting in him only “Effing” up. But that’s a story I’m not willing to go into any further. I mean, I could write a whole book on this topic if I did .
So, learn to let things go. Let things slide. Let that “Ball Of Responsibility” roll right on by as you go through your daily routine. Remember, if you do it often enough, the right fielder will play shallow and pick up the ball for you.
Follow through on this, and you’ll truly hit an EffTD™ touchdown!
