This first week of EffingTheDog.com has been quite the eventful one. We averaged a higher number of hits than anticipated, forcing me to take some serious action to ensure your EffTD™ experience was as somewhat satisfactory as possible.
Just kidding. I gave a lot of the stuff to my cousin, Xerxes, to handle in a timely manner. I gave up on teaching him the ways of Effing The Dog™ long ago, as he is well past the point of no return.
All the while, I continued Effing The Dog™ to the highest degree. Xerxes has since reported back to me with what will be happening in the coming weeks and months with EffingTheDog.com, and they are as follows:
1. As mentioned, an interview with Leo Babauta. Read the front page headline for more info on that.
2. EffingThe Dog.com has been added to the Getting Things Done network on Feedburner. As the web presence of Effing The Dog™ spreads, so will the philosophy. Plus, being part of this network gives me the avenue to convert so many to EffTD™.
3. Creative Commons. We are now a member of the Creative Commons community. I’ll go into more detail on why this so important to the EffTD™ way of operating in a future entry, but needless to say we are happy to be on board.
4. EffTD™ podcast launch in February. More details to come eventually.
5. Twitter. You’ll be able to see what The Master of EffTD™ is doing thanks to updates posted right here on EffingTheDog.com very soon. For example, right now I’m typing about Twitter on my notebook computer. Twitter will also be the subject of a later post.
6. The Facebook application for Effing The Dog™ is nearly bug-free. Maybe one day it will be. We’re kind of all over it.
