I'd just like to say that our readership has exploded over the past week – which means that many of you have started Effing The Dog™ with tremendous enthusiasm! Congratulations to everyone!
In true "Xerxesian" fashion, my cousin (Xerxes Vardy) has asked that I plug a few things here to show that the website is becoming more viable. Frankly, the system itself is not only viable, it's reliable – so the website was bound to follow suit, if only by osmosis. Once again, science wins!
So, here goes…
1. This past week we were invited to join the Getting Things Done Feedburner Network, which is hilarious when you think about it – but also fitting when you think about it differently. You can do all sorts of things with the network from this site, as there is a tidy little badge posted on the right. Just scroll down. It's there. See? Told you.
2. We have opened up the site for advertising. When you click on one of the "Advertise Here" buttons that says Ads By EffTD™, you'll be directed to the rates (which Xerxes tells me are reasonable). If you'd like to place an ad, or have any questions – you can contact us here.
3. The EffTD™ Podcast will make its debut on Friday, February 8th. Which is still eventually, but now you know eventually when.
A big thank you to all of our readers, Leo Babauta from Zen Habits and his new blog Write To Done for his storytelling this week, and Jayson from Urban Prospects for his continued hard work. However, this means he may be as far beyond help as Xerxes when it comes to Effing The Dog™.
