As indicated yesterday, I’m still alive and somewhat chomping at the bit to bring you ever-closer to reaching your true potential as EffTDers. Not exactly chomping at the bit, more like sucking on the straw or nursing the beer. Far more appropriate.
I promised some announcements ,and you shall have them.
First, Cousin Xerxes is back from his whale-watching expedition. It was a long expedition in that the boat capsized and he was stranded for quite some time in open ocean. But his unabashed intensity generated enough body heat to keep him safe until he was found, and his lanky and meat-free body kept him safe from shark attacks during the ordeal. It was he, in fact, who inspired my recent “tweet” about shark-infested waters. If you missed it, start following me on Twitter at your earliest convenience. I’m not going anywhere with any great speed, so you’ll be able to catch up fairly easily.
Second, I am now on Stickam. That’s right. I have a show on the Stickam network, and it is called…
EFFING THE DOG: THE NETCAST
While there will be filmed content on there, I will also be doing a live show on a semi-regular basis. I say that only because my show this week will be on Sunday at 11 am PST (or thereabouts – really, whenever I get down to the EffTD Studios), but in the future (starting mid-June) the LIVE netcast will take place on both Thursday and Fridays.
Third, I will let you in on another secret: EffTD Studios is actually my basement. Cat out of bag.
No more announcements. I’m off to practice my reading…yes, I am reading now. Turns out, sometime I may have to. Don’t fret, I can read – I just choose not to. Unless they are comments left behind here at the site. I do read those. Now I also read prose.
