Vacation Over…Back To The Eventual Grind

Turns out that the video posts of my adventures at The Great Canadian Beer Festival didn't go off as planned….as I was surprised with a last minute vacation by my significant other. Sure, it took long enough for this to happen, but it was well worth the wait. Even Eventualists need to recharge their batteries, and there's no better way than to have varied and consistent vacation time.

We traditionally try to avoid summer long weekends as part of our vacation plans, as everyone else seems to be doing that. By scheduling (or doing impromptu) vacations on the weeks in and around the summer long weekends we avoid the rushes involved, and can have a more gradual slide into relaxation mode. And that we did.

There was a lot of beach time with only marginal amounts of people; there was many beverages on many patios – many "less than teeming" patios. It was quit enjoysble – and I even remember most of it.

Now, it's Tuesday. This week proves to be an exciting one here at Effing The Dog. On Thursday, iI'l be posting the long-awaited interview with Lifehacker's Gina Trapani.
