Best. Week. Eventually.

2098798259 1ae2a0957b o Best. Week. Eventually.

It’s Wednesday as I write this; I’m on vacation in Florida and it’s National Procrastination Week.  Does life get any better…or eventualler?

Not really.  Here’s why:

  1. Wednesday is the best day of the week during vacation.  Having Hump Day in Florida means I finally get to fully realize the meaning of the day…by riding a camel at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom.  The fact that I will have to wait in a very long line to do this makes it all the sweeter.
  2. The weather in Florida is completely unseasonal right now – kind of like how baseball players treat Spring Training here: unseasonal.  Apparently the weather here is a good 20 degrees cooler than it should be.  I don’t really notice the difference because the weather is still higher than where I live.  Besides, newscasts seem to be fixated so much on alerting me of any “weather threats” that I really have no concern at all.  They do this every few minutes or so, so I’m never without this “unvaluable ficformation” at my fingertips.  Or eyeballs, as it were.
  3. It’s, as aforementioned earlier before this point, National Procrastination Week.  I’ve even incorporated the ideals behind the week into this blog post by mentioning it last.  Also, by posting this near the end of the day takes it a step further, although as an Eventualist I do this regularly anyway.  I’m relieved that, unlike last year, this week near and dear to anyone who follows Eventualism does not contain the Daylight Savings Time routine.  Losing an hour may add to the challenges that face those who follow the week to the letter, but it’s also able to be wasted during church anyway so there’s really no point.

Before I leave you with this and go off to do nothing further, I’ll mention that later this week I’ll be announcing the latest Eventualottery.  What the prize is and how it works will come eventually.

Now, please go forth and “crastinate” until you’re a pro at it!  Just do it in your own time.
