I Broke My Bonsai

by Mike Vardy on June 20, 2010

I took up bonsai due to its eventual growth cycle. I wanted something other than my children and my fame to outlive me. Something natural, you know? Hence, the bonsai.

But I think I killed it. Eventually, of course…but not the way I wanted it to go down.

So I set an eventual plan in motion…

First, I took to the internets to see what I could eventually discover. I even watched Karate Kid. Then I watched the real Karate Kid. Nothing worked.

Then, after watching the one with the guy from Boys Don’t Cry, I decided I had to take things to a level above the one I was currently at.  You know, the next one.

Here is a photo of what my bonsai leaves looks like…not too shabby.

See?  Not too shabby.  Really shabby.

All of my eventualizing has done nothing…I’m wondering what level of inaction I must-ish take next.  I don’t want this bonsai to go bai-bai.  It’ll make “mediating in” that much more difficult knowing it’s gone.

If any Eventualism students have any suggestions…I’m here for you to help me.  I sincerely hope my bonsai is able to stick around eventually enough to hear what you have to say.

This is one time where Eventualism needs you – which only happens every now and zen.

As a bonsaiman waiting to eventually master the art, I’d say this specimen, sadly, has pined for its last fiord.
