Reader Mail: Procrastination vs. Eventualism

The New Eventualism Baby

First off, let me say that all babies are eventual in nature (okay, maybe not all babies).  They incubate for a spell inside their mother, then they further incubate inside your house until they go off to college or something.  This all takes time – and because they are eventual creatures by nature one has no idea how much time this will take.

Secondly, let me say that my wife and I have our second eventual baby coming soon to a home near us.

I’m not saying this to start a “Name Mike Vardy’s Baby Contest” – although it would be interesting to hear some suggestions if only to prove that I have some fame about me.  I’m also not saying this to get the obligatory congratulations that I’m due.  I’m saying this because my ongoing journey of fatherhood is about to change somewhat.

I’m pretty sure I’ve been told by my wife that I am eventually prepared for it at the end of July.
