To-Dos
I don’t give talks, present stuff or speak speeches.
I don’t do any of those things. I do something even — and eventually — better.
I perform.
After looking up the word “performance” in my thesaurus — which I use frequently (or on a synonymous vein, sparingly) — I found the most apt description of all of the above as it pertains to yours truly: To-Dos.
So, without further (or farther) adieu, here is my list of To-Dos and To-Dones.

Shameless Testimonials
“It takes a particular combination of knowledge, wit, and humour to interest someone like me, the Sloth Queen of the Downtown Eastside, in something like Productivity. I mean, it’s like learning Latin: fine in theory, but you don’t expect me to practice, do you? I can’t be bothered to read Lifehacker, let alone follow its somewhat prissy instructions, but I do read Mike, and sometimes even do what he tells me!” – Lorraine raincoaster Murphy, skookumchick, raincoaster media ltd
“The best thing you can do is to stop reading this now, and instead go and talk with Mike. His talent is obvious, and any recommendation I write will be rendered moot within your first five minutes of conversation. Still reading? OK. Mike is an unusually bright and creative person. If you seek collaboration with a brilliant, funny and ethically sound partner, get with Mike. You will find his creativity is unbounded, and you will benefit from any collaboration with him. I recommend Mike for anything that involves humans.” – Clayton Stark, VP Engineering, Flock
“Mike was an excellent client to work with on his project. He had organized, produced, written and designed the shoot with professional efficiency. He is a truly creative and innovative director and writer with a killer sense of humour. Working with a client that knows what they want, and give clear direction, is a plan for a successful shoot. He makes it fun to work on one of his projects.” — Gregg Eligh, Owner, Eligh Photographs
“Talented, driven, dedicated, and motivational. The performances that we worked on together would not have happened had Mike not been in charge of them.” – Jason Finnerty, The 30 Cent Players
“He’s driving me nuts. Please get him out of the house.” – Anne Vardy, wife
